| Description: The Virgin turns a dirty face when the summer monsoon floods hit. The river runs thick with "liquid Zion", sticks, pebbles, and other stuff washed out of the drainage. The river feels different--thicker and with more viscosity. Not the first choice of southwest Utah boaters--sometimes the only choice. |
