| Description: About 1/2 mile downstream of the put-in at Man-o-War bridge, these ledges can form a pretty good recirculating hole at higher water. At this level, just a bump and a small play wave at the bottom. This run is an excellent introduction to moving water for beginning kayakers. It has everything-- eddy lines, ledges, walls, waves, and even one real rapid near the I-15 bridge--and, of course, the incomparable Virgin Gorge scenery. |
